If you call you might want to have a script at hand or an outline of your points. Ask for someone in the legal dept. Skip any doctrinal disputes. To be denied a job based on religion and slandered is illegal. Maybe a letter would be better and see what happens. Do you have a lawyer? Perhaps the ACLU will go to bat for you. Contact them first. Good luck!!!

Get a Skype account and use that to call them. In the end it comes down to reaping what you sow, by having been a member of a cult-like religion. Hopefully, all of us can get their policies humanized, but the WT leaders appear to be insulated from any public pressure at the moment.

Personally I feel that calling HQ is like calling to India.....you get a person that has no idea what you are talking about, and can't get you connected to the department you need to contact. Just went through this with Circuit City.

The Phone people were pleasant and apologetic, but in the long run can't help you. They can take a message, they can transfer you, but you never end up where you need to be.

This morning it took me 3 hours on the phone to reach the actual HQ of Circuit City.

Please keep in mind you are trying to reach the aka Kremlin....it ain't gonna happen.

    Happy trails.

    r.

I think you will end up finding it a frustrating experience each month. Be prepared for a rise in blood pressure and a big runaround, or they may just hang up.
