lol - yes, that's him. And John Terry (the actor) was listed in the credits as well. That shot doesn't show the tennis shoes, but apparently a lot of people noticed that first. I haven't rewatched it yet myself.

Lot's of 'manifestations' in last nights show too. I was expecting some comments on Mr. Abaddon (sp?) as well on this religious forum.

Ya know, I can suspend a lot of disbelief and get into the whole island thing... up until last episode of last season where Jacob was introduced. The invisible guy in the chair was kind of a step too far for me. It's got me annoyed with the show. So I hope they start answering some things before I just lose my mind.

LOL - couldn't resist mentioning the LOST series theme.

So, do you have any theories about Charlie and Mr. Abaddon? My current thinking is that they are manifestation from the island itself...it wants to bring the Oceanic Six back to help it. (the island and I guess the rest of the people that didn't leave).

And did you guys notice that when Hurley was in the cop's questioning room - before the wall collapsed? The swimmer, some swear it was Charlie too, had writing on his hand? Just like the death scene. There are screen caps up of that too.

I did love the juxtaposition of Jack watching the car chase scene while pouring O.J. I laughed out loud at that one. The writers are pretty good at that stuff.

I am certainly a woman of reasoning and logic... science, with the exception of physics, was never my favorite subject ;)

I thought the guy swimming looked like Charlie, too.

As for the Charlie and Mr. Abaddon visions... well, I'm pretty much just along for the ride, at this point. No major theories of my own to throw out there for you. Sorry ;)

Thinking about this... I could go for that on the Charlie thing. I don't think the Abaddon guy could fit that mould. He was trying too hard to find out about what happened to the others on the island and if they were still there. If he was a manifestation of the island he wouldn't need that information as the island would already know. I think he is from whatever group killed all the Dharma folks and feeds Ben his information from outside the island.

No one here has mentioned the Oceanic Airlines commercial that aired later that night in the middle of the other new series that started Thursday nights.

Did anyone watch that? Any thoughts on it?

I thought it was interesting... showing an airline at the bottom of the ocean.
