For a moment, all the world was right... How could I have know the way it would all end, the way it would all go?

Our lives, are better left to chance, I could've missed the pain, but I'd a have to miss the dance...

Who's to say, I might have changed it all? it's my life, it's better left to chance.... ~ Garth Brooks

The hell with everything! Who wants to dance???

    Hi DJK~

I was doing really awesome when I wrote this... then I spent the night with family, now I'm backed to totally pissed.... I wonder if I just want them to accept me, but just don't actually want to spend any time with them... They really piss me off and there viewpoints... (Which might be totally not that bad, because of them, hubby listens to me more....)

Will listening to country music actually make anyone feel better?

    yup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess the moral of what was said is, that everyone can miss the pain that they go through in life, but they would of had to miss the dance (all the awesome stuff in life) also.... So, let's dance! screw the bad stuff, it's gonna happen!!! just accept it, and appreciate all the good stuff just a lot more!!!

That is one of the best songs ever-and it's true. The crappy stuff makes us who we are, and if you have any regard for yourself, you have to respect the things that happened that made you, even the hard or ugly stuff.

    And I love Dawg too:)

I hope all is going well with your hubby and family. I had some rough times with family. Extended family too-but as their lives started showing the cracks in their illusion of perfect JW'ness (three divorces and none of 10 kids in the 'truth'), NOW my uncle talks to me:)!

It will get harder for you before it gets better, but as things go on and you figure out exactly how you stand in all this, and you figure out how you will make your marriage work, then you will see how your life does go on-even if its a bit of hell first. You know the OTHER country song-and as a JWish person you may want to take theological issue with it, but the point is clear- "If you're going through hell, keep on going. . .(don't let the devil even know you're there).

Are you going to meetings? Hows that going? Are elders hounding you yet?

I'm glad you stuck it out with us here:)

A month ago, I was speaking and siging at Borders Books in Yakima, WA. After my speach a woman asked who I give credit to for who I am today. I had to really think on that one. The answer surprised me... I told her that I gave credit to those in my life who hurt me most. I like who I am today.

From the paiful thorns rises the beautiful, yet delicate rose.
