Enjoy I certainly did - NOT

    There were 2 brothers.
John's son was lame and James' son suffered from blindness. During the
harvest-time, both brothers would take their sons with them into the fields
and worked very long hours to provide for their families. Often it was from
    sun up to sundown.

One morning, John didn't come to the field. James
couldn't go looking for him, since there was work to do. About noontime,
when James stopped for water and a short meal with his son, he saw from a
distance a man running toward him with a small child. The child was
skipping and running circles around the man. As they drew nearer, he recognized his
brother. He couldn't believe his eyes, because, yes, that was his nephew,
who just the day before was lame.

James hurried to meet them and praising
Jehovah that this miracle had occured. When he asked John what happened, he
learned a good les son. John said when they went to the meeting that day,
Jesus the Master was there. He healed everyone in attendance.

The Circuit Overseer telling this illustration asked if you knew that Jesus
was coming to your meeting, would you be there? After a long pause, he said
Jesus is at every one of your meetings--are you?

It was a powerful illustration. I knew you'd like it. We may not be physically healed at our
meetings today, but we do experience healing. First of all, we all know if
you have a regular (not migraine) headache, and you do go to the meeting
anyway, you still feel better after the meeting. And second, we are
spiritually healed. We get our "immunizations" against worldly thinking and
are fortified with "vitamins" from the Bible to keep us healthy in faith.

So the next time you think you just can't go to the meeting, remember who will
    be there waiting for us.

What you are is God's gift to you. What you bec ome is your gift to God.

Jesus has never ever ever been inside a kingdom hall.

Jesus entered satan's lair a long time ago and defeated him so He has no need to return to see what he and his followers are up to.

the scriptures also say " wherever two or more are gathered in my name I shall be there also" so it looks like Jesus was also with the man and his son working in the field.

That was another crappy illustration from the Tower. Jesus would never heal anyone for going to the boasting sessions these days. No matter if he was in the Kingdumb Hell, I could count on not getting any blessings whatsoever by being there. (I think he would be more worried about ripping the hounders and the hounder-hounder for presenting lies as the truth).

Hhhmmm, I used to suffer terribly from headaches when I was at the meetings. Now I rarely get one.
