Too often it was one-way radio and too seldom two way radio!!

If you meant RATIO, there were, throughout the congregations I knew, usually 5 to 7 elders for a congregation of around 100 publishers. -

At one point, we had more elders than you could shake a stick at, it seemed like 1 for every 8.
Due to moves, deletions, and death, it seems more like 1 for 12 now.

In my current congregation, there are 5 elders for 50 publishers.

Any elder is one too many. Any congregation of JWs is one congo too many.

PS..I was assigned (briefly) to a congo where there were 2 elders when I got there for 50 publishers...and in a congo near me that has 12 elders for 100 publishers.
