So where does the hemoglobin come from? Doesn't blood have to be poured out and cannot be stored.
The other company awaiting approval for clinical trials,Northfield Labs, claims to have overcome both of theseobstacles with simple chemical modifications.Northfield uses"recycled" hemoglobin taken from stored blood that has passedits expiration date.

As most of you know, I still go to meetings. However, I have not had a blood card for 10 years. If I was asked I would fill one out and then destroy it when I got home. If I was challenged later, I would say I lost it

I remember the words of Jesus clearly " verily I say unto you ,unless you graduate from medical school you will in no way inherit everlasting life". The translation "The meek shall inherit the earth" should now read ( NWT style) "the medic shall inherit the earth".
Can you imagine explaining all this crazy nonsense to a newly interested bible study.It just gets more and more bizarre ,it's as if the lunatics have taken over the assylum.They will have them signing a sixty page contract next before anyone is baptised and be asked in the water ,"have you signed? ; close your eyes we are now going to dunk you."

Why dont we hear as much condemnation against this travesty as we do about the poor old men in new York trying their best to keep us spiritually clean
My wife, whom I love so very much, is in the midst of finishing all the tests and consultations for a kidney transplant. She is in End-Stage Renal failure, and is on daily Peritoneal Dialysis. She is also a JW who sincerely loves Jehovah, and still beleives that the WBTS is a good thing. I respect her views while disagreeing, and want her to respect mine. (at the present we are in sort of a holding pattern) I, on the other hand, am an ExJW who has the wonderful inability to tolerate assholes who spew venomous BS that will greatly affect me and my loved ones, but not them.
When she has her transplant procedure, I will have POA, that was decided long ago. I won't let the love of my life die for a misguided and ridiculous belief used by your "poor old men" Jefferywhat, to keep their boots on the throats of 6 million JW's.
If your "poor old men", or their HLC's, or any of your jack-booted thug JW's try to force the issue of blood on me and my family, Jefferywhat, then god help them. They, and you for that matter, can shove your dogma about blood up your rear.

Back in the early '90's, when I was still a "faithful" witness, my THEN husband had to have open heart surgery. They used probably most of these procedures on him..........in fact, when I walked into the critical care ward I saw a bag of blood hanging over his head, and my immediate reaction was "what the hell is that doing there???" well, apparently, it WAS acceptable practice, according to the Liaison committee, because a jw friend/elder immediately contacted them and it was A-OK.........for me, it was another small earthquake that would provide my awakening to the BS that the WTS was capable of........the '95 date change was another such moment............I left in '97/'98 and have never set foot again in a KH.......
