Special pioneer $600.00 per 130 hours per month. Healthcare 440.00(?) per month.

    Total $1040.00 / 130 hrs. = 8.00 per hour.

    Then :

    Regular Pioneer 70 x $8.00 = $560.00

    Aux. Pioneer 50 x $8.00 = $400.00

    Publisher 10 x $8.00 = $80.00

    Why not?

It would be the ethical business thing to do.

That's how much these cockroaches save by not paying anyone below special pioneer. I imagine that amounts of these magnitudes go into the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund. That means, every time you put in one hour in field circus, you are effectively giving $8 in labor to that fund. No wonder people are spending more time in Dunkin Donuts than out in field circus.

My brother and his wife are special pioneers. They were part of the first Bethel layoff.

It just never dawned on me before that SP's get paid for field circus while no one else does.

They put in 60 hours more than a regular pioneer and bang they get perks, doesn't make sense to me.

Does anyone know if SP's pay rent for those kingdom hall apartments ?

I know they get health benefits.

I was watching a JW promo DVD and saw a segment where the narrator mentioned "free labor" in connection with a kingdom hall build.

This bothered me so much I had to pause it and make some comments about it to the study conductor.

The labor is not free! It may be free to the WT corporation, which explains why they squander labor like it is a nearly unlimited resource. This comes at a cost to the donor of the labor, who has direct expenses of maintaining themselves, and transportation. They also have the expense of their time, which is a limited resource and could be used for something else beneficial and productive that brings value.

That the WT would dismiss their labor as being "free" is so disrespectful that it is unconscionable.

    Nothing is free.

Don't worry Jehovah will provide, that is if you are well liked in the congregation and have your hours in.

I thought you were saying that going out in service COST the publishers 8.00 an hour to be out there... I'll bet thats not far off either!

The post office pays rural delivery people who drive their own cars $4.00 an hour for depricaition and repairs. That stop and start stop and start is murder on a car, then the car's also idle for long periods of time and inconsiderate boobs get coffee and drinks everywhere plus tracking in tons of snow, mud and dog shit. Then there's the gas. Plus there's all the other things you could be doing from working to hobbys to spanking the wife WHATEVER all of those things have value...

I don't think they could get me out there now for 80 an hour!!!

A special pioneer gets paid to do the same thing they do for nothing .

Knowing how cheap a lot of JW's are, I would think this would piss them off.

Why are they so stupid ? Heeeeey wait a minute........... forget that last comment.

What 10-hours-per-month regular publisher brings $80 profit to the
Borg? Maybe back in the day, but today they place a small handful
of mags- say 12. Even at a buck apiece from donations (more than
they get) that's a loss per publisher. This cult would have never
worked if they had to pay the workers.

If you have a million good free-labor magazine distributors (there
must be a million a month out of the nearly 7 million that do a good
job) then you make 10 to 20 million dollars a month in profit.
Pioneers are the bulk of that million, some publishers probably do
just as good because they reach into their own pocket to contribute
    for the mags.

What 10-hours-per-month regular publisher brings $80 profit to the Borg?

What 130 hour per month sp brings in $1,040.00 profit to the corp ? 1,040 mags ?

The bulk of corp. money comes from the shelf mags jw's buy and donations.

I just find it hard to believe the corp. pays for these sp's no return on their money.

I see them ending sp's . Not profitable for them.
