I agree with the premise for the topic, but let's be reasonable, that's still not enough to live on. They are still living at poverty level and worse. What's going to happen with the recession kicks up a notch and these people can't even afford the basic necessities?

I was watching a JW promo DVD and saw a segment where the narrator mentioned "free labor" in connection with a kingdom hall build.
But when the ragazines are offered, and the householder asks "How much do they cost?" The WBTS instructs its salesforce to respond "They are offered without cost to you." They insistently remind them "Do not say that they are free."
What hypocrites.

Maybe the ACLU will help the special pioneers unionize to get cost of living increases?
