I think the tax exempt status should be revoked. It just helps religion make money. I'm thinking Christ said you wouldn't make any money if for following him. You can have a job, make money--but don't fleece the sheep in Christ's name.

I am not sure whether the internet war between Scientology and Anonymous--and its real life counterpart, the demonstrations--will bring more public awareness to the dangers of other cults. But I do find the movement intriguing for its de-centralized mode of activity and its empowerment of the individual to act from a self-motivated source yet work in concert with others to accomplish a goal.
