Yep, it seems that with every technological advance, the WTS has to slam it in some fashion. I've noticed that, while these things used to be accused of being SATANIC, it seems that nowadays, the emphasis is put on how it "takes away time" from serving God ......the bOrg.
Personally, although I COULD live without all my tech.....I would'nt want to. God gave us a brain for a reason. We should'nt be criticized for using it.

When the heads of the Organization downplay and demonize education, what can you expect? They hate progress.
I know an unbelieving mate that studied for years and his big hangup was if Armageddon comes, who's going to take care of the power plants, distribution of electricity, etc.? When you don't want to even get a decent education, how can these "shepherds" care for these responsibilities//?
I love technology. I'm in awe that a little tiny chip can do what it does insude the computer. I'm always interested in what they will come up with next. One of my regrets in not being able to live forever is that I won't know all the wonderful techie things that are in store for the future.

While most in this occupation do just enough to further the kingdom work and work for other people, I know some guys who are making well into SIX figures in
their business, but of course these are the guys who had some drive and ambition and developed their own business.
