You ever think of Alaska? I hear it's nice there this time of year.

    Sorry... back to the question.

Ponte Vedra Beach or St. Augustine are nice, especially if you like golf, and you still get a little blast of winter every once in a while.

I love NC near the Virginia line. If you want to live near or on the coast Morehead City is a nice old city. Eden where I live is a good place to live, beautiful country scenery, you can drive out in the old country roads and see so much that is beautiful. The coast is only about 4 hours away.

Hello cognac....I have been enjoying your posts of late and I have to admit that you are one fast moving chick! May I ask you a question? Not to be nosy or anything, but does your desire to move have something to do with your new stance with the dubs? Just curious....

    NMg

Well, the idea to move South has been toyed with a bit for about a year now... However, the idea of it given my new stance is a lot more attractive... Yes, I am fast-moving. Thank God I'm not into gambling! I've always been like that though. My mother gets nausiated by me! lol... It's just my personality. My mother will get pissed because I always nose-dive into things. But, one way or another, it always works out for me. I guess I have a nack for doing things in fast-forward... lol, but this isn't something unfamiliar to me... People wouldn't be shocked if they got a call from me saying I moved to New Mexico! Just my personality... This whole thing about finding out the truth about the truth has probably been a long time coming...

We live north of Nashville, TN. I love it here. You are 25 minutes away from Nashville yet still in the country. Check out Robertson County.

    Stay away from Florida.

It's one of the worse States in the United States to live.

It run like a 'third world country" and it's governed like it's not even a part of the US..............enbarassing to live here.

Wow. I have never heard that about Florida. I know they are having a huge housing slup and that a lot of people in that industry is out of work. You bring up a good point, I really believe in the near feature that the United States of America will cease to exist and there will be states that govern themselves. Just a theory.

Hey Cognac- My wife and I were just talking - if you want a beautiful place to live California , Northern state is beautiful from Lake Tahoe - north. Also, Nevada where they have no state tax is growing , Reno area has some rural places - it is growing and expanding, close proximity to the beautiful Sierra mountains. Our winters here are generally mild , much more so than the east, and nice seasonal weather , very nice 8 to 9 months out of the year. So, it's something to consider . I was born and raised in the state, quite a variety of places to see and experience ! You can be an hour and a half from the beach at the Pacific ocean - and an hour from the beautiful Sierra mountains . Lots to offer ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

Hey, Flip, don't you have to give an arm, a leg and your first born male child to live in California, though? And aren't Californians moving to Colorado, Portland and Seattle?
