Imbedded in the paragraphs are scriptures listed in italics with the word READ before them. Example: READ 1 Timothy 4:1

The rest of the scriptures won't be read unless there is time - which there will never will be. They also say that anything that says compare before the scripture shouldn't really be read.

Remember when the brother with the KM part made up his own questions. They were so ill prepared, that they would wing it, and the questions, Now the WTS provides the questions.

So few WT conductors had the cited scriptures read or the audience so rarely read them, it was embarrassing to call it a "bible" study. Now they are directed which scriptures as a minimum have to be read.

A generation of young jws had little understanding of even one scripture that backed up the basic teachings of jws.

Notice even still that the WTS refers to themselves as jws, "Jehovah's servants," "Jehovah's people," and rarely as Christians. When they do refer themselves as Christians, it means only jws are Christians, and any other Christian group are merely "so-called" or "professed."

Perhaps they are demanding that verses from their so-called Bible be read during the WT study to fool visitors into believing that theirs is actually a Christian religion and not just a publishing company. This would explain the absurd use of the term "Christian" and Jehovah's Witness" in the same sentence in their new name. JWs are a lot of things but they aren't Christians.

It means they can keep adding in the random out-of-context scripture references, and nobody will bother checking them. Scanning over the page it looks very bible based with lots of references. The problem is people look these up and say "WTF does that have to do with it". Now - you only look up the fraction that are at all relevant. Bingo - bible based articles with loads of scriptural backup.

are you serious that they say that anything that says compare before the scripture shouldn't be read? That is a joke, right? Geez what are they coming to? Do you have a scan of something that actually says that.
