I made that same connection IMMEDIATELY when I saw this episode in full. They didnt show what I thought was prudent to the story line with those machines that watch the MARKED and SHUNNED ones everywhere they go and tell the NON marked ones that THEY will be marked and shunned as well if they make contact with the marked ones! Its sooooooo much like the Witnesses. Its disgusting and accurate.

I saw it before I became a Witness, but being a TZ fan since childhood, I remembered this one and have long since wanted to share it here and when I saw it on Youtube (although shortened) I had to share it. There is one part missing, where he is beaten and hit by a car of teenagers who know they can get away with it and get some sick thrill from him not being able to report them. That reminded me of the Witnesses who treat DF people worse then anything and know nothing will happen to them with the elders.
