Yesterday we were blessed with another 8 inch snowfall. It was [in defense] among the most beautiful days we have had this winter - the temps around 30 and the sun was out sometimes. I spent the entire day at home with the Grandmunchkins - they spent most of it outside playing in the wintery stuff, as they were off school.
Still - and in spite of all that - I am so tired of winter. It is snowing again - but much colder today. About time for spring I say.
Winter rant over.

It seems there has been more snow than usual this year. I live way down south, so we never get any. My northern friends are all sick of winter.
Hang in there a another month, some flowers will be blooming.
Wow - I would love to be down south right now. I could be teeing up the golfball already.

You guys have been just pelted thru the mid-west this year with bad weather haven't you?
Its been quite nice up here in the arctic! The igloo is still holding together nicely.

yes H4O, i too live in igloo country, canada,,and we have been having great days of 13+Celsius,,,no clue how warm that is,,
maybe 50 ish,,with sun, but we had multiple days of 4" of snow,,,almost non stop since nov..unusual year,,usually once or three times, here in chilliwack, outside of vancouver,bc

It wasn't supposed to snow here yesterday. We got three inches and then it turned to rain. What a mess.
More rain and snow coming and I'm looking for a good recipe for groundhog.

groundhog....cook it slow and long in a good hot salsa, it covers up the taste. Well, it works for rabbit anyway.
I think that I am snow deprived. I love it. But I remember during the tough winters, about March it gets old.
I have no problem with winter. It has just stayed past its welcome this year. Snowfalls are beautiful if they are in December. By the end of Feb, they have lost their beauty. We are all ready for spring.
