OK, I am really sick of living in a southern state. We haven't had anything remarkable this season. We got under 5 inches in Dec, another 3 inches in Jan, and a layer of ice in Feb. This has been the warmest winter of my life. There may be a northern relocation somewhere in my future.

Don't get me wrong! I love the seasons. But if winter could just be 4 foot of snow and December with spring coming in early January I would be fine.

Tell me about it. We also got another 8 inches last night. I love winter, but this is getting to me his year for some reason. It is long and drawn out. But alas, yesterday and the day before I heard and saw geese returning so it will not be that long until it starts to warm up.

I know what you mean Sweetface. We had two snows that actually stuck enough to look white. Only lasted a couple of hours then it was all gone. Both days they closed down the schools, lol.

There was snow in Tasmania last weekend right in the middle of our summer

We had plenty of snow here - above 4000 feet. We are down in the desert, already have green meadows and lots of wild flowers but there is still snow on San Jacinto and San Gorgonio mountains. Really pretty. And all the snow-bird golfers are here in force.

This winter sucks!!!! I hate it. Yes, the snow is pretty, but I've bottomed out my car in the snow twice. I've slid around on ice patches more than all winters of driving combined. The ice broke the delay speed on my windshield wipers. It's cold, cold, cold. I am ready for spring. Pleassssseeeeee come early.
