I dont know. How can you throw out the stinging tails that were prophsized about in the book of revelations...that and I hear the other garbage is repulsed by them.

My "volumes" '56 to '96 were my most prized possessions. I can still close my eyes and visualize the rougher texture of the older volumes and the faded gold etching. At idle moments I would pick up an older volume and start reading, feeling the warmth of spirituality morph into my cerebulum.
In 1996 I bought the Web-TV thingamagig which essentially turned your TV into a computer monitor. I read one chapter online from "Crisis of Conscience". I mentioned to my wife that we no longer needed the volumes since we could purchase the CD-ROM(We never did). She agreed. I tossed forty years of formerly prized religious dogma into a dumpster.

aaaacccckkkk!!! Recycle, people! Please! Your waste management can take books for drop-off at the recycling centers, even if you can't do them curbside.

We took ours to a recycling centre...hope theyre all made into toilet paper.
Just out of interest there is an Australian biography (not by a jw or anything) called 'My place" where one of the characters actually regularly takes the watchtower mags because they couldnt afford toilet paper during the post WW2 depression and the WTBTS paper was pretty good quality. True story!
