Yes humans can't solve any problems like the enviroment....so you must believe in your big daddy Jehovah...does this make sense????

As a believer in an abstract "god" and in evolution, I can say that this is pathetic in the extreme! A person can believe evolution and still have spirituality in their life!

Sorry but I am not seeing a source of superior wisdom doing anything about the problems we have today. So how is having someone who does nothing better than having nothing in the first place?

My answer would be:

In the USA, man has enacted laws to regulate pollution and environmental damage. These laws have been proven effective in curbing pollution. Granted, there remains A LOT to be done, but man is trying. God has not shown the ability or willingness to do anything at all. All "God" has done is make some empty promises in a two thousand year old book. Why should I trust him?

If you're an orphan, you have to make it on your own, which is what we hominids have had to do for the past couple of million years or so.

We're supposed to believe in a "source of superior wisdom" that has sat idly by while mankind has struggled to progress through the millenia. And exactly why should we have faith in a creator, oh great Watchtower? "Consider the alternative....It is more appealing." So something is true because we WANT it to be so? You just failed your own Theocraptic Misery School counsel points for "Convincing reasoning" and "Coherent development of a theme".

CyrusThePersian, if God set things up properly, and we are messing it up, why should he have to do anything? Mommy always made me clean up my own messes. It ended up being a good thing for my own formation as a responsible adult.

Fortunately, we've got a comfy house with a fridge full of food and central heating and air conditioning. It helps!

I hear mom and dad are just out for a little while, apparently they thought they could trust us. Better clean things up!
