There really is no need to categorise ourselves by thinking up some meaningless title / label. We are all unique individuals in our own right and I'd rather stay that way - open minded.

The second we attach a name to ourselves we become just like them and everyone else that likes labels to fit in fancy packaging - big no thankyou to that one.

I admit however the term EX - JW's is very derogatory, I just am who I am, period.

TruthSeeker is find, however, many on here are not Truth Seekers in the Biblical sense, no offense intended. But some of use have just given up on God and religion and are seeking their own self interest. So we would have to ask the age old question: WHAT IS TRUTH?

Well RR has a good point. Some people leave the Borg just because they want the freedom or because they are disgusted with the way things work in real life vs. in ideological terms.

I've been thinking that the two main names that the Society gives us is of course apostates or opposers. These can at times be true by their definition, but don't always apply to ex-dubs.

Perhaps something that might work is this word:

compose

1 : to form by putting together
2 : to create by mental or artistic labor
3 : to deal with or act on so as to reduce to a minimum
4 : to arrange in proper or orderly form
5 : to free from agitation

So, in a sense when we leave the Witnesses, we put together our own beliefs by means of mental labor and they are done in a proper way and we are free from agitation. LOL!
