It wasn't a movie, it was an episode of "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer." I think it was called "The Gentlemen." Nothing was said for most of the movie. It was just these floating, polite, ghouls who ate the hearts out of their victims. Argggggg! It scared the bejesus out of me!!

Amateurs...lol...just randomly ......(Dario Argento's movies are finally coming to American audiences. His new movie called "Giallo" is opening sometime this summer."giallo means yellow and refers to the italian horror genre of slasher type films popular in Italy in 70s and 80s).
1. Halloween (1978) and David Lynch's Lost Highway are my favorites...
2. The Mask Of Satan (1960)
3. Dario Argento's Opera ..or anything by Dario Argento..
4. Jeepers Creepers 2 and 1
5. Amytiville Horror remake (2006?)
6. Stagefright ...(the way a horror movie should be made imo)
7. 30 Days of NIght
8. Snuff 102 (akin to August Underground and Mordem but better)
9 Don't Torture a Duckling
10. Earthlings (2002)......ok this is a documentary but far scarier than anything in a movie.

Oh, yeah, the Exorcist was rather scary too. Not the scariest I've seen though.

As a kid, the Shaggy DA movie scared me because seeing a man turning into a dog was tramuatizing. I could say the same thing about the fly. It was a bit disturbing.

When I was very little, I saw House On Haunted Hill, the original. There was a man who pushed his wife off in a vat of acid. Then her skeleton stuck her hand out of the acid and grabbed his leg. That scared me nearly to death!
Then I saw Jason and the Argonauts. Someone threw the teeth of the Hydra on the ground and a skeleton with shield and sword sprung where each tooth landed. up to fight Jason. That movie nearly scared me to death!
To this day I am terrified of animated skeletons. I haven't seen pirates of the Carribean for that reason. And the other day, Julian wanted to know if he should be this lego set or that one. The first one had Skeleton knights and skeleton horses. I felt myself gasping. I thought, "We can't have those skeletons in our house." And I asked him to choose the other set.
The Grateful Dead video with skeltons freaks me out.
OH yeah, then there was the movie and book, Screaming Skull. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Saw Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things. I was a teen and had too many beers. Zombies starting coming out of the ground at night and eating people. It was like in Thriller, but scarier. That freaked me out. Best zombie scene I've seen.
