I am sorry to hear about your Husband, it takes time to heal. You are right, sometimes it comes back and you feel the pain, and you say why did this happen to me.
Its a good thing that you have the girls, it makes you stronger and have to keep it together.

My heart and prayers go out to you. What a tragic life changing event to have to go through, what possible motivation did your ex husband have to do that?

Hi everyone, I just got home from work and checked my thread. Thanks for all the concern - I am OK now, just stunned that a 62 year old man would do something so fucking crazy. Actually Barbie Doll was treated worse - ongoing abuse. My husband was OK for a long time, I think what happened was that he started taking meth to lose weight. He was always obsessed about losing weight. Now, as a friend of his said, he is a skinny addict in jail. I didn't know what he was doing - I saw him going downhill physically and mentally and was afraid he was sick but he wouldn't go to the doctor. Then he just went nuts - tried to kill me - tried to kill his friend who just wanted to talk him into going to the hospital - tried to kill the cop who was with the friend. Whew! The irony is that I have lost a great deal of weight in the last year and a half, with no drugs or supplements or surgery. Just eating right.
