If I went to the Memorial, I would have to partake to proclaim the death of the Lord.
Going and not partaking would be the same as DENIAL of the value of the Lord's death.
It is a meaningless gesture.
I tried to point out to him that we have been taught that only the "annointed" eat and drink.
Ok, here is a point I have pondered for a while. Didn't the Bible say that Jesus and teh 12 went upstairs for a private meeting? I don't remember ever reading that They invited up a bunch of unworthy, 2nd class world mongering wretches to "Observe Solemnly" their repast......
