I just wanted to add my welcome with all the others. There are many here who hardly ever post, but are a staple in chat But the DB is here if you want to bounce off some ideas or have an experiencce you want to share.

I suggest if you want your identity to be secret, you limit personal info to emails, or just keep it all to yourself. We don't mind because there are many here who are afraid of divulging too much info.

How r ya? Some current JW's come to the sight to "put the fear of God into you", but just ignore them. Some of the biggest offenders are Fredhall(who is actually pretty funny), You Know, (our resident prophet), and a various assortment of hit and runners, who post inflammatory things three times, then leave.

Hi there!

I'm new to this board too, only been coming here a week or so, and have been made to feel very welcome. Please don't be afraid of the Internet; the only people who want you to be afraid of it are people who don't want you to be able to make free, informed choices. As you're still associated with the JWs, I guess you experience quite a lot of fear when you do anything approaching 'independent thought'. It's worth just acknowledging this fear and then maybe asking what sort of people use fear as a weapon to control other people.

Hope you find this board supportive and informative, and don't let the fear get to ya!
