A later edition of the SunTimes(metro) article quotes JR Brown,,,,,he says 'the christian cong of Jw's disavowed corporal punishment as an acceptable way to discipline children, he adds,it has nothing to do with the religion'.....'it isnt even a biblical teaching....Taking the life of another is a sin,being cruel and abusive is a sin'.
