In 8th grade my science teacher asked the same question, and was enormously dismayed when I proudly announced that I wanted to be a porn star! Throughout my adult life, however, people have recommended several lines of work that they think I'd be good at. Attorney, metal sculptor, rock singer, and writer, to name a few. I have actually started a fantasy fiction novel but who knows where that will lead. I've also been told that one day I'd make a great elder, but I can't see that happening for some reason... My sister thinks I'm going to establish my own church and she's going to be its first member. "I think the Lord's going to use you in a big way..." she says. I can't help but think she might be like the ones who told me I'd be a great elder one day.

The one thing that I always told people after i got over the "porn star" kick was that I simply wanted to be a "Professional Adult". I think I'm going to just stick with that goal...

My dream job would involve entertaining people. Making people happy, making them laugh, and getting paid for it? Yeah, I'm all about that.

Dave - you are almost there then - we just arent paying you a salary as yet!

Wings - I think we might be sisters! All of those jobs I have dreamt about one time or another. Writing and having enough people sufficiently interested to buy it regularly enough to cover my bills would make me happy.

My other dream job - Lighthouse Keeper with the interior walls spiralled with the spines of books so that I could read for eternity beneath my beacon.

I'm like a lot of you - I picked my avatar because she's better looking than I am and has a better job! I have to say I'm proud of what I have done - taught a lot of people a skill that earns them a good living - the irony now is that I'm not making a good living any more. Oh well. I would enjoy a variety of things - I even think that bookkeeping for small businesses would be fun. I enjoy bookkeeping and I know QB. I have to get through this "opportunity" disguised as disaster and then I can do something new and fun.
