this your mother you're speaking of?
yes, my dad passed away shortly after that thread was started. I have had to finish up his estate, and qualify her for medicaid. June 15th, D-day.
It was my Dad's dying wish I keep her with me. She had a major stroke 3 days later, and I can only do what I can do. I just need to make it until June 15th.

does your mother have a social worker? if you havent checked with her county of residence yet, there might be some programs or provisions thru human services that could get you a little respite from her care

been there done that bought the tee shirt. I have help, I have everything in place. What I am left with is #1 personal choices I have made. #2 the injustices of the medical system in the US. #2 is hard to make sense out of that, but I have worked the "system" and have 2 months left unless she gets an illness or injury...etc....that would put her in the hospital for THREE DAYS. Then she could go into a rehab until medicaid kicks in.

Some vodka. Seriously it will calm her down. Unless it will mess with her meds. Then vodka for you-bloody mary, screw driver anything.
Or you could develop diarrhea and need to use the bathroom alot!

Dont know her but ,I bet she would have a few mmemories about your antics ..... Remember your going to get old one day. what you do to others MAY be done to you....
