Dinner with Friends

Just wanted to post that Besty and I had some guests over this weekend: DNCall, WhoKnows and Dagney.

It was a real pleasure to spend time with you - you are great people and very brave to have taken a stand and put your money where your mouth is. It's been very painful coming to the realisation that everything we believed in has been a fairytale and as a result of calling "Emperors New Clothes!", we have had to sacrifice many precious friendships.

However, it's a new exciting journey and I am very happy and proud to be on it with you all.

Here's to friendship out of the cult and hoping that one day our dear friends will join us.

these kinds of threads are ( dare i say it?) uplifting, knowing that there are opportunities looming for many of us to meet fellow escapees......

it is kind of like having been in the military... you simply cannot explain basic training.... just like you cannot explain the dub experience to anyone who hasnt been there....

A special thank you to Sweet Pea and Besty for taking a leap and inviting us over. It was a wonderful evening, Sweet Pea is quite the hostess with the mostest! Dagney and my husband share many friends in common. I think we all felt that we had been good friends for a long time. It does mean so much to talk to people who really understand. As Sweet Pea said, now we all have to keep the hope that our dear friends in the Borg will see the light. In the meantime, we are truly enjoying our new friends. I love dinner parties!
