Thank you Carlos and God bless you too.
Sir82, I don't know if you meant to be funny or what, but I am no longer looking for "quality gays" just "quality people" -

Junction,
It seems from your comments above that 'negativity' directed towards yourself on this Board is the primary reason for your leaving.
From what I have read of your posts you interpret 'negativity' as being disagreed with, and positivity as being agreed with. I would suggest that the emotional issues that you struggle with are not going to be dealt with until this aspect of your life is attended to and you look at life from a more reasoned dimension.
Criticism can be the most rewarding feature of our lives if it helps us to grow. Viewing it as a 'negativity' that must be escaped from is treading emotional water.
Good luck though, and I hope all turns out well for you.

JG, As I recall, you are a corrections officer, aka, prison guard. I would think this type of work would be like taking a bath in negativity every day. Could this be subconsciously wearing down your spirit?

Possibly, it seems most people can't handle it there and move on. But I think it is a combination of things.

"Arguing with Avatars and people I may never even know is not productive and very little can become of it."
One step to overcoming negativity is to stop thinking negatively. I'd suggest looking at it this way. If you are really serious about making change, then view the years of time spent on this site as an awakening and learning process.
Look for the good in the bad and I really hope that you are serious about this. -

Good Luck Dave. I wish you the best. They say birds of a feather flock together and what does light have in common with darkness.
Your probably doing the right thing. To spend your time arguing with people whos views are different than yours has to be stressful. If you have made your mind up how things are there is no need for further consideration.
Since I have been comming here, I find my eyes have been opened to the possibilities of there being no God and all that entails.
I find looking behind that door and examining that reality very depressing and empty. Nonetheless personally I keep weighing God vs no God because I find both arguments less than satisfying, less than adequate, less than totaly aware and truthful.
I suspect a part of me will always be searching for the truth. Truth being the reality of why we are here, where we came from, the purpose and meaning of life. Maybe I have the answers and I dont recognize them and maybe no one has the answers.
Anyway good luck to you Dave. I am glad you have something to believe in. Hang on to it. I dont think many people are trying to take your faith away from you. I think that many are looking for you and other believers to give an intelectual response as to why you believe. And the unbelievers are hoping that it makes sense to them.
Personally I would love to have evidence of a loving caring God to take care of me. That would be 100% more preferable than staring into the empty void that may be reality, that is the other side of the coin in the great debate of life.
I have been trying to read my bible. I have read through it 5 times cover to cover. There is comfort to be found in the scriptures, I have found, if I keep it simple.
Complicating matters and life is a curse I have been blessed with.
Good luck, take care, wish you the best.

Could this be subconsciously wearing down your spirit? I am a detention officer. In 2 years we have gone though 80 officers. We only have 80 officers. Tremendous negativity. Very high turn over.
