If you think you are at risk of bio-terrorism just say "Jehovah! Jehovah!" That will make the germs afraid and they will run away.

Pathofthorns...you are thinking like an American here. Your worldview is perfectly logical to another American.
O the greatest insult to me.. LOL No, Mindchild, you are the one thinking like an American. The Canadian perspective is that we are not a target so why worry? Do you think any "JOE BLOW" american should worry about getting anthrax in the mail?
Seeker's perspective has been really outstanding IMO on this whole subject. Stop handing over your civil liberties over to your governments for an illusion of security. Carry on and live life as you always have.

I think the point is that the terrorist would use the assembly not to attack Jehovahs Witnesses but to attack the US by using the behaviour of Jehovahs Witnesses.
They mingle a lot, have next to no security and then go talking to more people in their communities than anyone else I could think of.
If someone wanted to distribute a virus to the largest number of people (and the difficulties of distribution is often quoted as a protection) then using JWs / Assemblies would be an efficient way to do this. The witnesses would be used but they wouldn't be the final taget.

BINGO! Simon got it and explained it the best.
My sincere and humble apologies for insulting you Pathofthorns I'm not worried about getting Anthrax in the mail but having worked in the medical community in the field of microbiology, I have an outstanding respect for the dangers of mass pandemics that may potentially kill millions of people in this country, myself included.
I don't think we should be giving our rights away at all. What we have seen our own government do is obscene IMHO. Further, this rape of our rights won't go far in stopping terrorism anymore than getting tough on drugs stopped the flow and demand into this country. Yeah, so I do agree with Seeker on this as well.
My only point was that if we knew something really potentially horrific was going to happen...what could we do about it? I'm not actually for banning the games at stadiums or for the Witnesses. The post title was just a way to get people thinking about this. What I would like to see is the Witnesses give a HIGH priority to security and to make sure that there is someone around the air intake system at all times. This bit of precaution isn't a gross infringement on their rights or ours and just might be worthwhile.
