There are a few things that made Rutherford so successful in pulling off one of the biggest religious scams in human history .
He knew the law of the land and knew how to exploit its free market place
He knew how to exploit and manipulate people to accomplish his agendas and goals, probably due to being around C.T. Russell so much.
The WTS gave him all the power, popularity and money he desired
if the Truth be told though he really wasn't a Judge he was a crooked lawyer that wrote and published some self promoting propaganda that supported
his business that he had control over, how then could he really lose.
The broad based Christan thinking market was his and Russell's target and I'm sure both could see the potential and the possibilities beforehand.
Regrettably they were right.

Thanks for the assistence. All of the above will come in very handy. Particularly the part where the WT (in 1975) lied and said the house was built for Rutherfords use because of health concerns. No mention of the "Holy Ones".
