If I'm not mistaken, cut and paste originated in ancient Babylon as well.

The 24 hour clock has also been called railway time (in Europe), continental time (in England), and military or (a long time ago) railroad time (in the US). Only in the US is it called military time, by the way.

I live on a street that may have some pagan links on its name (as does just about every street). I also use the same alphabet that pagans do, the same numerals, and eat and breathe like pagans used to. I suppose that means I need to quit doing all the above.

It should be noted that the 12 hour system used the latin terms; anti meridian and post meridian or AM and PM to define time before or after noon. This system of time telling reeks of ancient pagan Roman origings.

Therefore, Christians would be wise to limit telling time to the minimum. Ceasar has insituted time telling as part of governmental order, telling time may be required to meet certain appointments or schedule events.

As part of ones personal activities Christians may find other ways to measure the passage of time without bringing tainted methods into the Christian home of place of worship. Hourglasses were a part of the early congregation. As we read Paul's counsel....................

Um, I believe the 24 hours come from the 24 elders of Revelation, one elder for every hour of the day....where is your Bible knowledge?
