That guy in the second video was so boring I couldn't listen long. Was he actually implying a government had a machine to make earthquakes happen?
Quite science fictional don't you think? Can you say "conspirisy theory?"
If it wasn't a natural phenomenon this may be a better theory.

I only checked out the clouds, looks like part of a sundog to me. (A colored luminous spot produced by refraction of light by ice crystals that appear on either side of the sun. Also called parhelia.)

This has nothing to do with the earthquake.
This happened in Idaho, amazingly with no earthquake following.
