with all the decreases here, witnesses will be happy to know that the Memorial Partakers has increased again! yay! its oscillated about the same spot now for 14 years.
with the exception of the anomalous year of 1978, USA has had the lowest number of baptisms on record. my records go back to 1969.

IMHO, it seems that the countries with the
double digit increases are very obscure ones
with tiny populations of Dubs. Therefore if
even a few relatives get dunked it shows up
as a large % increase. To go from 10 Dubs
to 12 is a whopping 20% increase. hahahaha
I would be interested in any other observations.

still counting tine. NOT!!!
What I find interesting is that every developed country that I could find
was showing a negative or zero increase. Their only area of growth is
in under developed, poor nations with little internet access.
As well, I noticed that Canada (0% increase), had a decrease of over
500 publishers. That translates to a decrease of 0.49%. I have to wonder
if they didn't fudge those numbers a little bit. The August peak of 110,000
seems a little convenient to me. It is also noteworthy that the number of
hours spent in service is down by 15% in Canada from its peak a few years
ago.
Most importantly, the baptisms are dropping - it appears that the waters under
the old whore are drying up. If you subtract the growth from the baptisms and
divide by the average, you find that the attrition rate is 2.8%. That seems to
be higher than normal.
