I don't know... but maybe all they'll say is that the decrease shows that the work is slowing and that is because Jehovah has "weeded" out the unrighteous and that he is sure to bring destruction any day now! What do you think?

They'll probably explain-away the decreases to the gullible [yup, yup, yeah, that's how it is, cuz Brookly says so] publishers. They'll try to make it look like it's proof that they're God's Organization by referencing "in the last days, the love of the greater number will cool off". The only problem is, that the love that's cooled off is the true unconditional love that's been replaced by the antiseptic conditional love of the JW theology.

At the risk of sounding a wee bit anglo-centric...
Nothing matters like the good 'ol USA (even under martial law, apparently). A big, fat ZERO in the growth in the US means many things, but most of all it means THEY ARE NOT BRINGING IN ENOUGH GROWTH TO SUSTAIN THEMSELVES FINANCIALLY.
In business, whether non-profit or not, no growth means certain death. Costs always go up, and if there is no growth in membership, there an be little growth in revenue.
I smell blood. Let's keep whacking away at them!

As I said above, this year JW closed 70 congregations in France. Last year 36, and the previous year another 46. That total 152 congregations less in three years.
Is this their "writing on the wall"?
