One of my favourite books is still Revelation, so much dramatic scenery and awesome events, cascading symbols of events.

What was your favourite book of the Bible and why?

    celtic,

no question about it, my favorite book was the song of solaman (sp). when everyone else was reading the watchtower or following the public speaker, I in my teen years, was reading the steamy parts of the bible.

please exuse my non use of the upper case letters. my key board is dying on me.

I can't say I have much interest in the Bible these days. But my favourite books were Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and James.

My favorite Bible books are James, Daniel, and Proverbs. I also like Genesis and Exodus, until Exodus gets bogged down in the later stages with the whole Tabernacle design thing.

Most tedious and least favorite...well, gotta pick those first 9 chaps of 1 Chronicles, with all those geneologic listings. Then there's Levitcus, a wonderful book if you like plowing through the stages of leprosy and various stipulations of the Law.

What is Revelations? Oh, you mean Revelation!

Mohammed- 'My teachings lead to the attainment of truth'
Buddha- 'The truth has been revealed to me'
    Jesus- 'I am the truth'

"Injustice will continue until those who are not affected by it are as outraged as those who are."

Ecclesiastes I enjoyed too and Proverbs, perhaps on reflection, more so than Revelation.

Revelation is so colorful and dramatic. I have a vivid imagination, and always enjoyed the pictures created by reading Revelation.

I also liked Genesis and Job, tragic and heartrending at points, but good stories nonetheless.
