Funny, but it still sounds bitter.
By not allowing men to tell them what to think...it seems that some have allowed bitterness to tell them how to think. Two sides of the same coin...and both are problematic.
Bitter, yes, but not at God, if that's what you are thinking.
I don't believe such a narcissistic, egomaniac exists and pulls our strings. That brings me much peace.
If I'm bitter it's at the fact that I once DID believe such bull shit.

High freaking five, sister C! I feel exactly the same way, I cannot believe I bought that crap for so many years. My new motto, If the God of the Bible is Real (which of course, I do not believe "he" is)..He's an A hole and I'll die free thank you very much.
CHANGELING- " I sit on the throne and watch it all. I have to let it happen " as well. Especially first thing in the morning. But as I sit on this throne " letting it happen", I always read the morning newspaper. It helps when god catches up on the latest news ! LOL! Peace out, Mr. Flipper
Sweetstuff: I share your motto!

Wow...You have a regular cheerleading section.
You believe you're at peace. Your expletives tell another story. You're right though...a narcissistic, egomaniac god only exists in the minds of those who love or hate him. They subject themselves to a non-existent thing and then hate themselves for participating in the unreality. Odd.
The true God is none of those.

Will you reveal Him to us, Rabbi?

So what exactly do the "expletives" have to do with anything ?
"Will you reveal Him to us, Rabbi?"
No.
Anger.
27Then the governor's soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company of soldiers around him. 28They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, 29and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand and knelt in front of him and mocked him. "Hail, king of the Jews!" they said. 30They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again. 31After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him. (Mt 27)

"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment that you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "Let me take the speck out of your eye," when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye." Mt.7:1-5
