I have an aunt who went with the don't marry/procreate until after the big A, she admitted to me more than once, (now in her sixties) if she had known "the system would last this long" she would have chosen differently. Heartbreaking really. She'll die without ever having held her own child, or her own husband.

I remember some damn scripture about woe to the pregnant woman in the last days. It was quoted over and over before 1975. Of course each time I was pregnant I pictured struggling up some mountainside at 9 months, unable to go on with no food or water, about to give birth.
My boys are now 21 and 23 years of age......they will be able to trudge up that mountain on their own and probably be carrying their mother
