I`ve caught them in lies at my door.........I`ve been told openly an elder "See this red book?..If the WBT$ says it`s blue,then it`s blue."..He openly admitted he would lie for the WBT$..Ive heard similar stories from others......My elder dad once told me:"You can do anything you want.Just don`t get caught..If you do get caught..Deny,deny,deny"......................Lying is built into the WBT$ System..It`s called "Theocratic Warfare Strategy".......Jehovah`s Witness`s are taught to lie by the WBT$..It`s part of their Religious Beliefs................. They told me I would not have time to graduate high school. They said that the generation of 1914 would see the end. When I use to go door to door if some one at the door would ask if we believe that only JW are going to be saved we would answer no. If someone would ask if it was true that we shun ex-JW we would answer no. I was told when I was younger that the GB never said that the end would come at 1975. They maybe never explicitly said it but I was led to believe that it was the RF that made the whole thing up until I red the oct.8 1968 Awake!

I confronted my dad about the child abuse the WT tried to cover up. He said that they never did, I said to him that if he really believed that he had to forget what happened in the congregations we were in. I remember him being very upset about the fact that elders did not tell us about a young man at the time I was friends with had abused a bunch of kids in the cong. He lied and said that they never covered it up. I could not believe he would totally lie like that. He was mad at he WT society for a long time and now it is if it never append.

(Worked 8 years for) "Brother" #1...was sellling his business, but didn't let any of the " 20 brothers" that worked for him know. He allowed 2 of our last paychecks to bounce. Said it was a mistake of his bank. He never did make good on our paychecks, He was eventually given a slap on the wrist and asked to step down...not deleted for fraud.

(Worked 7 years for) "Brother" #2....well intentioned for the most part, but when I was having trouble with "brother" #3 (they worked togeather in #2's business) he promised he would back me up if Br #3 continued to treat me unjustly. In the end Br #2 backed Br #3 and told me, "Well I NEED him more than I need YOU." Came up with a trumped up reason to "let me go".

(Worked 1 year for) "Brother" #3 (his personal business seperate from Br #2)...would LIE to his customers...lied to me about how he would make sure he would cover all my tax/SS deductions( which he didn't do. Come tax time I found out he was 1099ing me....which means I had to come up with over $2200 in taxes owed...he paid me with personal checks.

Sure , how about," millions now living will never die" . joe rutherford. Then there are allot of lies I was told by individual members .We all know the WTBTS stance on it , it's not a lie if people believe it.

No, actually I haven't. One time a former friend of mine did misinterpret what I had said but it wasn't a deliberate lie.

I didn't get to know about the past history of the WTS untill I was almost out so I can't actually say that while in I caught any of them in a lie though there were situations that were dodgy at times

(reading this you please keep in mind that english is not my first language.)Yes,thanks for asking.i left a year ago because i realised the p.o. and his sidekick(another elder)were playing games with me and my family.short story: i asked to meet with a sister to confronte her for spreading rumors about my doughter.the sister's husband (he's been coming to meetings forever,never baptised,i wonder why)worked with the p.o. for years and are very good friends,(bad associations spoil..........?)so one night (after months )the p.o. and the two brothers who are "working with us" tell us that the sister don't want to meet with us,she's scared of me and other b.s. at one point another elder steps in and organizes the confrontationn at the hall.i ask that the p.o. be present,i need clarifications.we confront the sister,she said she knew nothing about us wanting to meet with her,( the p.o. said she was asked),so i call this clown dowstairs(p.o.)and tell him that his story and the sister 's don't match.he flips out.he tells me he don't remember,he starts yelling,he goes in the bathroom crying.the elder that organised the meeting had to go and call him a couple of times,he won't get out.(now,mind you,i've recorded all this,they don't know)we go downstairs again,in the minwhile the sidekick arrived(other elder present the night the p.o. told me the b.s., there were 3 of them)i asked them to call him to the hall,thinking he surely will tell the story the way it was.wrong! he denies everything. now,thep.o.,two other elders,me and my wife(god bless her)were present when the p.o. lied to us;only after a couple of months the third elder tells me ,during a visit at my house,that he knows and remember what was said.(but he won't go against the shop neither). conclusion:i just think jw are like everyone else.there's good people,that do things in good faith,and other that don't.they just play with a different set of rules.love and peace to all

wha happened?

as an employer, my JW employees lied to me on a daily basis. From taking advantage of time cards to everyday questions regarding work and production. No one was ever responsible. Everything was missing or broken because of smurfs

Yes, all the time, it was almost a gut reaction to try to explain away the "new light" or "errors of the past" of the organization. Because of the overt need to make people appear to "super zealous" in a stepford kind of a way, people had to lie to not show what they were really doing or thinking.
