When I was an elder I sat in on only one judicial committee and it resulted in a sister getting df'd. She eventually got reinstated after many years of groveling. After I got out I called her up and apologized for any pain I caused her ( she was inactive at that point). I also gave her the name of the Brother who wrote the letter to Brooklyn and ratted her out. it was her brother inlaw. She was really happy for that bit of information.
