    Hello gang,

So, i'm getting low on my apostate materials and was wondering if you could recommend anything BEYOND what we've done already.....

    -Crisis of Conscience

    -in Search of Christian Freedom

    -Awakening of a Jehovahs witness

    -Combatting cult mind control

Ok, that's what we've done... never done this much reading in my life! Please, further suggestions. Please feel free to recommend any other reading besides apostate you've liked recently, sometimes I get done with being EVIL!!!!!

    Thanks,

    Love ya!

For an excellent reference on realistic & scientific dating on the age of the universe, time of civilization, first humans, etc...

"Aeons" by Martin Gorst. I quote from it often when we get the fundies going on creative days, time of flood, etc.

These are under the category of "otherwise". The Age of Turbulence - Alan Greenspan Very interesting book. Deals with Macro Economics Otherland - Tad Williams (4 books in the series) Near future internet story. The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss A new author. Very good story teller. Then there are authors Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan, Brian Lumley and for a bit of tedious philosophy there is Ayn Rand.

    Autobiographies, biographies, and women's history.

I have always liked learning from others experiences.

Right now I am reading " The story of the Woman's Party" by Inez Haynes Gillmore Irwin.

For my not so intellectually stimulating reading.....Fern Michaels Sisterhood series.

  • Awakened at Gilead
    Awakened at Gilead

Gentile Times Reconsidered by CO Jonnson (end to the 607 BCE fallacy)

The Signs of the Last Days by COJ and Wofgang Herbst. (this will both make your blood boil and make you feel very relieved to be out of the misquoted "truth").

Madrigal's Magic Key to Spanish... (I hear there many Spanish speakers moving in to your parts of NC, so it doesn't hurt to learn some... now that you have Tues and Thurs nite free (unless you're just gonna watch game shows those nights???)
