Bert & Ernies. The beer was cold and the waitresses were hot.

That was a great place.. if we're talking about the same location. Isn't there anymore though :(

We had a couple of sit-down restaurants that had great breakfasts and very slow service. Sometimes when we got out it was time for lunch.......

Outaservice (for most of the morning)

My favourite location was near Dundas & Kipling, and it's gone. The last one I went to was on Dundas St. at 427. I think it's still there. I noticed one recently on Renforth Dr. south of Eglinton but haven't checked it out yet.

Either the local donut stop place , or I'd con someone to stop and get a real meal at Carl's Jr. or something. Occasionally would coerce people to go to Mexican food- but getting pioneers to stop anywhere was like pulling hen's teeth. They'd constantly look at their watch , even stopping to go to the restroom. Weirdos

During the summer months an elder and I would stop off at the convienence store and hang out in the beer cave to cool off.

Back in the old days, before the big A in 75, I dont remember stopping anywhere. When we went out in service,we were on a mission to get people into the ark, there was no time for donuts.

It seems like the organization has lost its focus.

America needs a boogie man to fight against, to motivate people and steal their energy.

And the Wactower needs a date for Armegeddon to motivate people and steal their energy.

I remember the Bloor/Runnymede location and then later seeing the Kipling location years ago. I didn't know it was a chain of restaurants... I'll have to go someday! But seriously, that is where you went for a breakā€¦ WOW.

Dunkin Donuts was my second choice.

My first choice was to go home and get that stupid suit and tie off of my body.
