  report any illegal activities you run across.
  Do not compromise your profession because some loan shark
  happens to be a JW.

  The guy knows it's illegal, you told him so. You need to pay attention to the fact that he doesn't give a shit that it involves you in a crime. Criminals are incredibly selfish about using other people. Report the asshole and let him pay the price. And if the congregation disfellowships you for following the law rather than DF him for breaking the law, well they are out of their minds.
