I love road trips. Nothing like burning down the highway at 95 miles per hour
Does anyone want to see my big bad burgandy baby bike??? and where are you other jwd guys from the meetup? I know the newbie will definately post soon...she did not know of JWD but is having a hissyfit that her grandkids by marriage are not getting birthdays done right....I can hardly wait for my first birthday party....and I will prob get arrested at the next halloween!!!.........oompa
Yeah, I was late getting to the fest, since I was caught in traffic due the mentioned several-car-pile-up. I saw a long cloud of smoke up in the air. It took me an hour to get past the wreckage. After that I want able to make it with the rest of the group without incident.
I was very surprised to see that oompa was there. He asked me to guess what his screename is. I knew there were many posters I'm sure I didn't want to meet, but I was surprised as to who he was and that I knew his parents.
By far, the most interesting fest, yet.
Oompa doesn't act his age, he thinks he's James Dean or the guy from "Chips." Glad you had an Adventure!

Now that there is funny right there LOL!!
Very cool! Apostafesting is good times! In case anyone is interested, the road is slick during the first rain in a long time because it floats the oil out of the road texture. Be extra-careful if it hasn't rained in awhile, if there was a nice substantial leak in a spot, that spot can be worse than ice in the first hour of rain (I learnt this the hard way on my motorbike). If you're riding in a metro area, trust me there's lots of spills and it doesn't matter how well they're cleaned up, rain will float more up. I generally won't do more than 25 mph if the road just recently got wet, trust me it isn't paranoia, it will shock the fxxx out of you when you hit one. If its been raining to a run-off level for an hour or so there's less to worry about. Bring_the_Light
