I know it goes both ways, but it's usually the women that are notorious for that type of behavior. If a guy is playing hard to get, there must be a seeeeeerious personality flaw floating just below the surface. This particular individual has at least one lamp shade in their apartment that's made out of human skin.

People who are typically "hard to get" want what they can't have. The best thing to do is drop it and move on. It's amazing that given our long human history people still believe that the longer you strive after someone the more likely they will respond to your advances.
You would have better luck.... if you just ignored them.
