From reading reports on JWD it seems that many are in the process of quietly leaving the Watchtower organization.
It's almost become disease like - and spreading rapidly, even acutely in lands where access to information is greater.
People who I've known for years have suddenly disappeared - it reads like a Stephen King novel.
What have you noticed?

Actually I've recently discovered a couple people who moved to a new town and new hall - actually moved and faded.
I was completely taken aback to realize they faded away and I didn't even know it. Of course, they were just as surprised to find out I faded too.
I've noticed a lot less energetic activity being performed by even the most zealous dubs. It's become a tradition or routine. The message has lost its emergency factor.
The reason I actually came across JWD was because I'd been contacted all of a sudden by three or four people who were in the process of leaving or had recently left. From their accounts much has changed since I was in the borg so I came here to catch up on the 'light' which is becoming so bright it's near blinding. I came here to find out how I could support them in their process of leaving. I think that's a really important part of disengaging from the borg - they need support, they need love, they need to know that they are safe. They need to know they have friends so the shunning doesn't sting as much. If they are supported and are part of a community they have more strength emotionally and spiritually to tackle the difficult issues of retaining relationships with family members, and to be able to do that with dignity, grace and honesty.
So yeah - they are leaving and they need support to stay strong and face the challenges ahead.
That 98% of the 37% of people (born/raised) born between 1966 & 1981 think all but the core 3 is crap or potential crap but are warming seats to keep their parents happy. If shunning & loss of family ties wasn't a factor they would openly give Ted the bird, maybe even drop trou.....

It sounds more like penacillen (sic) medicine than a disease.
I wouldn't be surprised, more people are waking up, this is the age of enlightenment. I think there will be the old-timers that are so engrossed in tradition that doing anything else would require too much, but there are those who are realizing that they are free and think individuality and individual thinking is their human right, and as they see so many changes and things that are not coming to fruition they are walking away.
It's a great time to create your own destiny in life - on your own terms.
Good--I hope this becomes a pandemic that causes every single witless to leave. And I hope the Kingdumb Hells continue totally empty.
