I found the statements in an pdf-copy of this book. Download-Link was somewhere here in this board. I couldn't find it again, so perhaps somebody else could post a link to the thread where the DL-Link was posted.

However, the book is copyright 2008. It's the new book published on this years district conventions.

11Extremephysicalabuse is another basis for separation. Suppose an unbelieving mate often gets drunk, becomes enraged, and causes the believer physical harm. (Proverbs 23:29-35) Through prayer and by displaying the fruitage of Jehovah’s spirit, the believer may be able to prevent such outbursts and make the situation endurable. But if the point is reached where the health and life of the abused mate actually are in jeopardy, separation would be allowable Scripturally. Again, congregation elders should look into charges of physical abuse when two Christians are involved in the troubled marriage, and disfellowshipping action may have to be taken.—Compare Galatians 5:19-21; Titus 1:7.

This certainly wasn't followed in my case. For 7 years elders in the 2 congregations that I attended simply encouraged me to be a better wife. I have read of many other cases where abused women were treated he same way.

Haven't you read the WTS "Dictionary of Meanings for Common Worldly Words"? They add to it as needed

I tell JW's "Jehovah created family before the congregation."

Yes, definitely. But not for the WTS. They make (not only in this book. You can find it also in this 2002 km) a difference between the inner family circle (depending on living under the same roof) and the rest of the family, what they downgrade to "relatives". This is how active JW (including my and my wifes family) understand it.

This is insane cult-thinking and has nothing to do with the thinking of normal people.

    Dub Glossary by Farkel.

It is most definitely worth the long read. And I'm pretty sure Farkel won't mind any new additions

As a ex witness that has been disfellowshipped, I can confirm that this is true, family members are encouraged not to associate with you, it causes extreme heartbreak to people. To be fair to them, they honestly believe that this will cause you to see the "error of your way" and come back to the congregation.
