I am simply amazed at the amount of different people and different world views that exist. It doesn't bother me, it excites me! There is a lot to learn and enjoy. It's a great reward for unlocking your brain.

Scarred for life
Their world view is very, very narrow. That's one of the best and exciting things about getting out. You can now go out and experience and see it all. There's nothing to stop you. The world is beautiful place with wondrous sights and mostly wonderful people. Open your mind, your eyes and your heart!

This reminded me of an old thread: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/12/65914/1.ashx
I'd say that among ex-JWs WT-like questions tend to survive the specific WT answers, and the most persistent feature of all is the (apparently) rationalistic, systematic, totalistic, consistent patternof "knowledge" exemplified by the JW "truth". Even though I was conscious of the artificiality of that pattern even before I left JWs, for years after I found myself attracted to theological or philosophical systems that (also) had an answer for any question. My impression is that the need for cognitive consistency in stronger in many xJWs than in the general population, and it takes time before that passes (if it ever completely does).
