So, I go to use my debt card. Dont use cash for nothing. Declined. I stand there in shocked aghastness. "What do you mean" I ask? "not accepted" she says.
I go home and look at my account online. Still plenty money. WTF? WTF are these charges from mexico? WTF? Someone has been living the high life on me in mexico since june the 30th!!! Basturds. Well I should get the money back within 48 hours.
Bastards. Now I dont have a card and will have to use.... cash. Bastards.

Do you have a credit card you could use in the mean time? Then once your bank card balance is restored, you can go online and pay the credit card balance.

that's where it's AWESOME to use credit cards though, if you lost cash, somone took it and went to mexico... it would be "oh well"...
We've had fraud charges, you just say it's not yours and it's over. Greatest thing,

Something similar happened to me a few years ago, well, many years ago actually. I got it all back (300) but 50 bucks. Of course it was my own fault, so I was pretty darn happy it only cost me 50. Sorry about your trouble IP

Debit cards don't work that way....money coming out later...
If you see it in your account its there, debit comes out immediately.

You are right if they use it as a debit card with pin. They have been using it as a credit card tho. So the funds still come out of my checking tho not right away.
