ummmm it's not appropriate by ANY standards at all, and it shouldn't take "instruction" to know that!
My thinking exactly. I guess these people really do need to be told what to do, in every facet of their lives.

Your stroy just brought to mind the many stingy pioneers I've known throughout my life. Most were not poor, if that had been the case I would call them thrifty, not stingy. And to make matters worse, their stingyness was not just in money matters but in matters of affection and kindness as well. Thanks for the unpleasant trip down memory lane. :(
changeling :)
conduct a raid when the wife is out
We did this a little over a year ago. We cleared out the freezer of bread and took it to the food stamp office. We had taken two pick-up loads of boxes to the two food banks and the bitch came back early from a trip to her daughter's home in Morgan Hill. Her daughter was never baptized and is living her life getting tattoos and raising her kids HER OWN way and this chafes the "B" to no end. She stayed about two hours and returned home.
She did pitch a caniption when she saw what we did!
Take a picture of the woman and distribute to local food banks telling them that she is abusing their generosity and that she doesn't need the food. Of course, if she has a disorder, tell them that instead. :-)

That's an AWESOME idea!
