What happens when the witlesses take the counsel too seriously? They are in fact going to have same-sex parent/children or same-sex siblings sleeping together, on their sides, as a way to avoid this horrible "crime" of masturbation. No, I do not see any reason why it would work. All this advice does is creates problems where none needed to exist, and often solves nothing. The idea is that if there is someone watching, they are less likely to masturbate since there is no privacy. Sleeping on your side prevents the blankets or mattress from contacting your private parts, hence one less way to masturbate (another lame excuse from the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger).
