Krispy Kremes are the best! Especially when they are fresh and hot. They melt in your mouth. I have been eating them as far back as I can remember, at least 38 years or more. Krispy Kremes are an American icon, right up there with White Castle hamburgers...

I've heard of them and that is about it. I don't really care for donuts - they're disappointing and I don't like the stuff they get dipped in - If I ate one I'd have it plain.

After looking at the Krispy Kreme calender I'll never eat one - I train to damn hard every day to give into that temptation!

I don't get those either...just tasteless dinky hamburgers. I didn't quite believe you could get them from a fastfood place cuz the only place I sometimes saw them in California was in a store freezer. Came back east and saw that those dinky things was actually sold in a resturant. Tasted one, not impressed.

That's why you didn't like it. You have to eat at least 6 of the slimy things before you get the full flavorful effect of the steamed meat and dehydrated onion goodness!!!

There's also the Krispy Kreme Challenge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krispy_Kreme_Challenge

Participants race from N. C. State University to the KK store downtown, eat a dozen donuts, then run back. First to make it back without barfing is the winner!

All profits go to North Carolina Children's Hospital.

I mistakenly said that the first store was the one in Raleigh. According to Wikipedia, it was in Winston-Salem.

lol, no thank you. The last time I allowed those things in my house I was in my first trimester of prenancy with my last child. The smell coming off those little things were so bad I had to hide in my bedroom and stuff towels under my door trying to keep out the smell. ick

It never occured to me that people can not like donuts. For the ones who don't like them, what kind of sweets do you like?

Chocolate. I like dark and milk. I like sweets, but not too much. I like natural sweets though, not too much sugar.

Sweet purple bing cherries. Nature's candy. Mmmm.

Better than donuts. And I like donuts!
